Pamela Chapman (Snapp)

 HOLLISTER, Mo. - Pamela "Pam" Lorene Snapp, 69, passed away peacefully at her home in Hollister, Missouri, on June 16, 2026. Pam was born on Dec. 2, 1956, in St. Joseph, to Leroy and Barbara "Lorene" Chapman. She grew up in St. Joseph and carried her love for family and friends throughout her life.

     Pam was preceded in death by her parents, Leroy and Barbara "Lorene" Chapman, and her brother, Timothy Chapman.

     She is survived by her loving husband, Darrel Snapp; stepson, JP Snapp; stepdaughter, Brandy Miller (Brian); brother, Terry Chapman (Tina); nephews, Travis Chapman (Stephanie), Brett Chapman, Aaron Wilhoit (Tina); and niece, Kristin Wilhoit; grandchildren, Cole Snapp, Brylee Miller, and Brynna Miller; as well as numerous great-nieces, great-nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

     She was employed at Mosaic Life Care and later retired from the St. Joseph School District, where she dedicated many years of service.

     Pam found great joy in traveling, cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs, and making lasting memories with the family and friends she loved so deeply. She was happiest when surrounded by those who meant the most to her, sharing laughter, stories, and special moments together. Pam will be remembered for her kind heart, warm spirit, and the love she freely gave to everyone fortunate enough to know her. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of her family and friends, who will miss her dearly.

     Please join us in celebrating Pam's life on Aug. 16, 2026, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Andrew County Senior Citizen Center, 12737 State Route E, Savannah, MO 64485. Family and friends are welcome to gather, share memories, and honor Pam's life. As published in the St. Joseph News-Press.

Prayers for her friends and family. I knew her name and more than likely we had classes together 
and even graduated. Sounds like she had a giving heart and I know will be greatly missed by many.
