Danny Jackson

Danny was 49 when he passed away on June 15th, 2006.

He resided in St. Joseph, MO.

Danny is survived By: Sister, Susie Dudley, and husband, Dave; two brothers, Steve Jackson, and wife, Joyce; and Mike Jackson, and wife, Kay, all of St. Joseph; nine nieces and nephews, Travis and Keith Dudley; Lisa Sabath; Steve and Brian Jackson; Lori Schneider; and Ashley, Lindsay and Alex Jackson; 10 great-nieces and nephews; and two aunts, Alice Jackson and Flora Lou Roberts.

Daniel L. Jackson    1957-2006

 

     Daniel L. (Dan) “DJ” Jackson, 49, St. Joseph, Mo., passed away Thursday, June 15, 2006, at his residence.

     Daniel was born on Jan. 11, 1957, in St. Joseph, where he was a lifelong resident.  He was a graduate of Lafayette High School, where he was the student body president; and Missouri Western State University.

     Mr. Jackson was employed with sheltered workshops of St. Joseph and Kansas as a marketing coordinator and CPR instructor with the American Red Cross.  He also was a Participant in Leadership St. Joseph.

     He was preceded in death by his parents. Norman and Lorene (Smedley) Jackson.

Survivors include his sister, Susie Dudley, and husband, Dave; two brothers, Steve Jackson, and wife, Joyce; and Mike Jackson, and wife, Kay, all of St. Joseph; nine nieces and nephews, Travis and Keith Dudley; Lisa Sabath; Steve and Brian Jackson; Lori Schneider; and Ashley, Lindsay and Alex Jackson; 10 great nieces and nephews; and two aunts, Alice Jackson and Flora Lou Roberts.

     Memorial service:  3 p.m., Thursday at the Heaton-Bowman-Smith & Sidenfaden Chapel, St. Joseph.  Interment: Mount Olivet Cemetery, St. Joseph.  Visitation: begins after 9 a.m., Wednesday at the chapel, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and a rosary will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday.

     The family suggests memorial contributions to the American Red Cross.

I met Danny in highschool.  Danny was a great friend and we will all miss him
